Concentrate your efforts on the most impactful actions you need to start and stop – the ones that will move the needle toward your goals. It sounds simple, but implementing common sense isn't always easy.
Step 1:
Identify the critical behavior you should start doing immediately. It could be as simple as waking up earlier or dedicating a specific block of time for focused work. Once you have identified this behavior, commit to taking action and consistently incorporating it into your routine.
Step 2:
Recognize the negative behavior that is no longer serving you and commit to stopping it. This could be procrastination, negative self-talk, or any other destructive pattern.
Step 3:
Take action on the positive behavior and eliminate the negative habit. To follow through with these changes, make a plan and hold yourself accountable. If needed, enlist the support of an accountability partner who can keep you on track.
